They are called homographs. homonyms sound the same like BLEW and BLUE, but homographs LOOK the same as well as sounding the same. I'm sorry I cannot think of any examples at the moment.

Wind (short i) can mean the movement of air;
Wind (long i) can mean turning the handle of a jack-in-the box
Looks alike but sounds different.
