Not a whole lot of people know about it but I LOVE it :) I'll tell you why. You can type in 6 "inspirations," which are six names of your choosing. It comes up with suggestions based on your inspirations. You can click on the names and read about the origin, the meaning (which I know is what you are primarily looking for), and other points of interest, such as: US popularity statistics, other names popular in the same US states, other names of that origin, and names nymbler users liked who liked that particular name. The only reliable babyname site is behindthename.com. The LEAST reliable baby name site is babynames.com.
Most sites out there are TERRIBLE for meanings and just twist them to suit themselves. For example, Addison means ''CHILD of Adam'' instead of SON, on some sites so people can justify giving this name to girls.
And my absolute favourite was when some site listed ''Nevaeh'' as ''Slavic for butterfly''Where is a good website for name meanings? (specific)?
Well I don't know about not in alphabetical order but you can just search for the meaning you want and get those meanings or you can go through the lists.
