Looking at name meanings and it's origin is Teutonic, is that old German? Also a boys name, thoughts?

I haven't heard it before, is it old German? That is what I found but I am still not 100%

What do people think of the name Joah? For a second name... I have always loved the names Jonah %26amp; Jonas but they don't work as well for the first name picked. The Teutons were an old germanic tribe that lived in Jutland, on mainland Denmark. In the 1100s they left their native lands in Denmark and traveled south in Europe. So no it's not a German name. :)



Joah is cute, it's a bit informal and nickname-y so I wouldn't use it as a first name, but as a middle name I see no problem with it! It's uncommon, but cool. ^^,
